When we started Foskia, we wanted to create more than just eyewear; we wanted to share a perspective. The way light and shadow, clarity and depth, come together, to shape how we see the world. That’s why our name comes from two Greek words: ‘Fos” for light and “Skia’ for shade. 

Every Foskia piece is crafted with this balance in mind. Vintage yet timeless, bold yet refined, functional yet expressive. Each frame is crafted with intention and precision, honoring the details that make it truly distinctive, just like the individuals who wear them.

Our Materials

What you wear should stand the test of time. That’s why every Foskia frame is crafted from Italian Mazzucchelli Cellulose Acetate, known for its strength, comfort, and rich depth of color. Each piece is cut, shaped, and polished to reveal the material’s natural sheen and unique character.

Our acetate is made from renewable plant fibers, making it both durable and sustainable. Unlike plastic, acetate offers warmth, flexibility, and a premium feel that only improves with wear.

From the hinges, rivets, and core spines to the final polish, every detail is chosen with care, built to last and made to be lived in.
